At the beginning of August, affected by the flash floods, some scenic spots of Longjiang Forest Industry Group were seriously affected. At present, all scenic spots are making every effort to promote post-disaster recovery and reconstruction and infrastructure upgrading to ensure the high-quality opening of the scenic spots as scheduled.
Ma Guohui, the project manager in the construction of Xuexiang Scenic Area, told the reporter that the snow will not affect the renovation of Xueyun Street. At present, the renovation work has been basically completed and is being finalized. The renovation work of the hotel will be completed before October 25 to ensure the smooth opening of Xuexiang as scheduled this winter.
Geographically, Xuexiang, Xuegu and Xue Cun, which belong to Longjiang Forest Industry Group, are all affected by the warm and humid airflow of the Japanese Sea and the cold air of Lake Baikal, and the snowfall lasts for seven months. The snow is of good quality and high viscosity, and the snow hangs from the eaves to the ground to form a unique "snow curtain" and tree hanging. Due to the influence of the mountain microclimate, it begins to snow here every October, and the deepest snow thickness in winter can reach 2 meters.
